Help Adoptees Reunited Raise Money For DNA kits
Organized by: Kelly Mahoney
Adoptees spend years searching for their identity, trying to find some glimpse of who they are, and where they came from. Since birth records are still closed in most states, adoptees encounter roadblocks all the time, thereby being denied access to their birth records and medical histories.
My name is Kelly Mahoney, and along with Myron Bretholz, we are the co-Admins of the "Adoptees Reunited" and "Adoptees Looking for Birth Parents" pages on Facebook. We have helped and assisted hundreds of adoptees -- in the USA and beyond -- in being reunited with their birth families, and we have always done so voluntarily, and without charging any fees. We love doing this, but we also know that there are always many more adoptees who need our help.
We have recently been approached by a few adoptees who asked how they might best be able to assist us. We both decided that the best way to help other adoptees, is to purchase DNA kits for people in need. If you have been helped by our sites, and you would like to help another adoptee, please consider making a donation at your discretion. Your donation will help an adoptee to receive a DNA kit, and thus get that much closer to finding his or her birth family.
A million thanks in advance!
