I was raped in my home, and, despite working full-time, I cannot afford the expenses incurred to move to safe housing.
I was raped in my home, and the physical and psychological dangers that resulted from this caused me to break my lease. I did this at the strong recommendation of my doctor (I'm on the autism spectrum, as well), and I worked with the leasing office to do this in the most professional way possible. Breaking my lease early has put me $1345.90 in debt to the apartment complex. Working my current 38-hour-per-week job and doing odd jobs, I still cannot manage this expense and my medication, food, housing, and transportation expenses. I am currently couch surfing and need to pay off this expense to be able to secure safe, stable housing. I have reservations about asking for help with bills on a fundraising site, but I'm plumbing all of my work and "odd jobs" resources, and I'm not sure where else to turn. We all hit hard times, I guess, and any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
