Good news: Covenant Ballet will have a new home in 2017!

BENEFITING: COVENANT BALLET THEATRE OF BROOKLYN
Covenant Ballet has been searching for a permanent home since being uprooted after Hurricane Sandy in 2013. Grateful for the “life-raft” it has found in its shared, current location this building has now been put up for sale. This is a critical juncture in Covenant Ballet’s history, and we MUST move.
We have identified a perfect location in Gravesend, Brooklyn and have been offered a 20-year lease with good terms! BUT, here is our NEED: we have to raise funds for the renovation and relocation expenses, a daunting approximate sum of $200,000. We have grants pending and local fundraising events, BUT WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!
Your gift today can help Covenant Ballet continue to spread the love of dance in South Brooklyn, where artistic, cultural activities and offerings are few. We are a small school with a big heart, and have been changing the lives of children for the last 30-years. The foundation on which our organization is built is a commitment to the diversity of people, language and culture of our Borough offering scholarships and breaking negative stereotypes in dance with our tuition-free Boy’s Program. Also, since 1997, our Arts-in-Education Programs have made a huge impact on the lives of thousands of young children attending New York City Public Schools.
This campaign will only run through July 16, SO PLEASE DONATE TODAY!
