BENEFITING: COALICION DE ORGANIZACIONESLATINO-AMERICANAS
Elmer Reynoso Reynoso is an 18 year old refugee from Guatemala. On June 1st, he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Asheville, NC. Elmer is currently being held at the Irwin Detention Center in Georgia. Elmer was the sole provider for his family. His partner, Fatima, and his two month old son Christopher depended on Elmer as a father and also as the primary breadwinner. Please donate today to help Fatima and Elmer's mother with paying rent, bills, food, and diapers.
Elmer fled horrible violence and domestic abuse in 2014. He attended Erwin High School in Asheville, NC. He has been heavily involved in his church, Adventista Septimo Dia. Elmer comes from the often persecuted indigenous Guatemalan community and speaks Mam at home.
Elmer's family and many community members are fighting to stop his deportation. In the meantime, Fatima, Christopher, Elmer's mother and brothers need your support. Thank you for your donation!
