Help for Louisiana
Organized by: Hanover Research
One of our very own was affected by the flooding in Louisiana. Thankfully Stefanie Toombs and family are okay, but her neighborhood, including her son's school, was greatly impacted by the flooding, with over 80% of her community still remaining underwater.
A little over a week ago, Stefanie and thousands of others were suddenly evacuated from their homes. About an hour after the community received news of a flash flood watch, water began to overwhelm several counties in Louisiana causing emergency evacuations and rescue reliefs including saving residents by boat and helicopter.
Stefanie was able to return home a few days ago, and while her home survived the flood, her son's school and local community is in need! We have decided to send our school supplies there, but also have set-up this fundraising page for anyone that would like to donate money to help the school and community.
