Help for Zachery
Organized by: Sarah Watson
Hello, my name is Sarah; I am a mother of a beautiful boy named Zachery. He is 8 now and is a suspected Asperger Syndrome case. My husband and I are doing all we can to give our child the best we can so he can have a great start and chase his dreams. Unfortunately, I have been living with Multiple Sclerosis, Relapsing/Remitting, and this has set our endeavor back a great deal.
I live and work with my condition struggling to earn an income to give my boys what they need. However, it becomes very difficult to do so when I have a flare up and cannot move, or bear the pain caused from my muscles seizing up. However, I bear through it in spite of the pain. My efforts though are falling short of our needs, despite my iron will. I am afraid. I do not know how much longer I can continue this and still retain my ability to walk. This frightens me because my son needs me and I cannot fail him. Thus, why I am here seeking the kindness of strangers.
The spinal tap, MRI's, and CT's cost us a lot even with insurance, and I have had to cancel treatment so I can feed my son. On top of all of this our savings and 401k have been cleaned out due to my weak immune system and vehicle failures. This has left us living on a wire and close to being homeless.
My son needs glasses and ongoing treatment to help him manage his condition, and excel in school. The amount I am asking for will help pay for all of this, and help erase our debt from medical bills, and loans used to keep our home. I love my boys dearly, and can never repay my husband for taking me, broken as I was 10 years ago, and giving me what I never had. Acceptance. Love. A place to truly call home when I lost all family and my old home.
This money will be a godsend for my son and help easy our struggle. I am already immensely grateful to those of you who have taken the time to read this. Any bit that you feel you can spare is greatly appreciated. you will be helping better the life of a young boy with so much potential and love for life. Thank you for your time and consideration.
