Jasmine is so grateful!

Hope. If you have it, you have everything.
Jasmine, who is 14 years old, and her younger sister, Jeannie, were the youngest of eight children in their biological home. All eight of the children were removed from the home by social services. The sisters have scars, psychological and physical, from their childhood experiences, both in their biological home and in foster care. They finally found a Forever Family, with a woman who adopted them on her own. This family of three is loving and close. Jasmine finally feels safe and happy much of the time. But the scars of the past persist. Jasmine finds herself feeling lonely and insecure as a young teenager. She attends therapy weekly, takes anti-anxiety medication, and attends a school that offers additional social and emotional supports. She has made so much progress! Adolescence, though, has brought with it some risky behaviors, like compulsive stealing, posting profiles on adult dating Web sites, and more.
With the help of Jasmine’s therapist, Mom has found a month-long program for at-risk youth that could help Jasmine develop the self confidence, decision-making, and communication skills that she needs to break the pattern of her danger-seeking behaviors. Please help Jasmine take this additional step to transition to a healthy and safe life with her Forever Family.
