THE STORY:

Jean is a family friend he is 54 years old and lives in Lebanon , I've known him since I was a little girl , he used to teach me how to play football. Around 10 years ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and had to have one of his legs amputated. He now is on a wheelchair with reduced mobility. He does 4-hours sessions of dialysis 3 times/week . His adoptive mum is the only family he has left to take care of him and she is 80 years old ! So he needs all the help and support he can get. Up until 2 years ago he was still able to work at his job as an assistant director of a bank but ever since his leg amputation he was left with no job. As Lebanon is a poor developing country with no social infrastructure the government does not provide enough support to cover the treatment expenses and other expenses needed for him to lead a healthy life. He has the Canadian citizenship and wants to come get his treatment in Canada however the government does not cover the first three months of treatment. Please help us raise money for him so he can come get treated and be on the national list for kidney transplant !! Thank you for your generosity
