Help Keep My Dogs Out of Shelter

This is our story.

Brodie (the dark brown one) is a sweet but timid guy because he was neglected for the first year of his life, until I came along and gave him a loving (& patient) home. Rain, who already lived with me at the time that I got Brodie, was a litter mate of his. They instantly loved each other and found a home together (with me).

Unfortunately, I've been dealt a bad hand in life. On top of the 3 strokes that I've had, I currently am dealing with an incurable disease, the passing of my mother, the loss of my job, and the ending of my marriage. Basically, I am stuck in a terrible Ben Stiller movie.

The real problem here though, is that my sweet innocent Brodie and Rain may lose their forever home soon. My house is currently too expensive for me to rent, and I cannot rent anywhere else due to my bad credit score. I'm unable to pay for my rent because with my health it is difficult to hold down a job. All my work experience is in accounting, and I cannot qualify for a job in that field due to my credit score. The credit score being destroyed by a judgment placed against me due to a medical bill. I was working with the collection agency and they filed the judgment anyway.

I would love to keep Brodie and Rain together in a home. I need to move out of this house, but also cannot qualify for rentals without a huge deposit again due to my credit and not being able to get a job in my field. Also, if I get evicted that would make it impossible for me to rent anywhere even with a large deposit. I cannot fathom the thought of them going to a shelter and being put down eventually. So this is why I am doing this. I am calling to all you dog lovers who, with a good heart, can help a family out.

Thank you for listening to our story.
