BENEFITING: The Oneness Family School
Oneness Family High School is seeking support and partnerships to help us launch our 21st Century high school this September. Our high school will foster critical skills such as Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Collaboration Across Networks, Agility & Adaptability, Initiative & Entrepereneurship, Effective Oral & Written Communication, Assessing & Analyzing Information, and Curiousity & Imagination. Key features of our innovative design include Student Led Projects, Active Partnerships with local musuems, agencies & organiztions, our Mentorship Program featuring experts & professionals in many fields, and a Leadership Classes co-designed by leadership expert Seth Kahan. We are seeking funding for key elements of our classroom design, for technology apparatus, for our makers space as well as for our scholarship program - which has disbursed $100,000 to date. Makers Space inlcuding 3-D Printer and Robotics Center - $6,000
Touch Screen T.V. with Video Conference Capability - $5,000
Laptop Computers for Students - $12,000 ( $1,200 pays for one student laptop)
Platform / Software licenses and fees - $2,500
Green Wall Including Installation - $5,000
Sustainable Garden materials and installation - $1,500
Science Materials including microscopes and lab materials - $3,000
Textbooks, Literature and Science Books and Library materials - $3,000
Scholarship for one students $28,000:
* Five donations of $5,000 puts us nearly there for one student
* Or 28 donations of $1,000 reaches the goal.
* $750.00 pays all material and trip fees for one student for a year.
Note we have already disbursed over $100,000 in student scholarships and financial aid but we have maxed out of our initial budget. More students could benefit from our transformative program with additional funding!
