Help me move

In April I was diagnosed with cervical and Uterine cancer. On June 23rd, a routine hysterectomy turned into a two-week ICU nightmare when I developed a blood clot. three weeks later my nightmare would continue, when the blood clot would abscess and I almost died from sepsis . In August of this year after multiple skyrocketing electric bills I had our electric company come out here to conduct an investigation as to why my electric bills were almost $200 a month for a tiny two bedroom attic apartment. Only to find out I have been paying for all of the lighting in the common areas in my building the basement, hallway lights, everyone's washers and dryers all on my line period which is against the law here in Illinois. When I confronted my landlord about this matter he immediately became argumentative and started making threats that he would lock up the basement where I couldn't wash my clothes or access my storage items. Due to the fact I am on disability due to health problems, my monthly rent and skyrocketing utilities are my entire check. I contacted our village in Elmwood Park and was told this is a civil matter as well as the electric company informed me of the same thing, and they would not force him to put Electric in his name. I cannot afford an attorney and the legal aid Foundation does not handle civil matters. Being a single mom I cannot afford to relocate with what I receive monthly. So I'm asking the good people on the internet to help make that possible for me and my daughter. I am hoping to raise enough money so I can get a security deposit, first month's rent, and help pay for Movers. Nobody deserves to be taken advantage of or live like this and it is really sad that landlords get away with doing this with no legal repercussions other than hire attorneys you can't afford and Sue. Thank you to everyone in advance that will donate and help me it is greatly appreciated.
