Help me to keep my beloved animals.
Organized by: Linda Matson
My name is David and I have about 30 or more rescued dogs. People who don't want their dogs will bring them to my home and set them inside my fence. I have been arrested twice because of the dogs barking (funny thing is dogs always bark). The last time I was arrested I spent the night in jail. I go back to court in October and am afraid the courts will have the dogs removed from my home and put to sleep. They don't deserve to die, they've done nothing wrong. I want to try and find some property so that I can relocate them; but unfortunately, I don't have enough money. I am Viet Nam vet and have some major health problems and these dogs need me. They are dogs that people have left behind when they moved or just threw out on the road. It takes all of my income to buy food and pay vet bills. I would appreciate anything you could give to help me and my babies (these dogs are my babies). The last time I went to jail some lady called the Sheriff and said my dogs were fighting and one got killed. This did not happen. Yes they were fighting. I broke it up and the one they had ganged up on went under the house. I climbed under, laid him on an empty dog food bag and pulled him out. Picked him up (bag and all) and carried him inside my home. She told the Sheriff that the dog was dead and that I had put him in a dog food bag to throw him away. I will gladly show anyone pictures of this dog. He is doing great or if she wants to come back will show her the dog is alive and doing well. I live in a mobile home park and I don't believe the lady who called the Sheriff office lives in this park. My property is only half an acre and I have a house located on this also. The property is too small for the number of dogs I have in my rescue. I need to relocate them and find a place where there would be enough land for them to roam and enjoy life. God bless you for your help and would appreciate your prayers for these dogs.
