Help Me Get One Step Closer to Ending Domestic Violence!
THE STORY:
1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience some form of domestic violence in their lifetime.
2 out of 3 children are exposed to trauma and violence
1 in 5 teenagers knows a victim of dating violence
1 in 5 women is sexually assaulted in college.
I believe that violence should have no part in anyone's lives. Domestic violence is all too common in our society, and we want to do our part to help end it. As a future health care provider, I have an obligation to my patients-to be their advocates, to help with their physical, emotional and mental well-being, and to help them feel safe in the place they call home. Help me and Futures Without Violence assist those in need. Help me get one step closer to breaking the cycle of violence.
