Help missionaries rescue medically disabled orphans
Organized by: Laura Pleasant
My friends need help! Roy and Erin Alex are missionaries in India. They are moving Sept. 1st from Hyderabad to Kerala, India to start a new home for medically fragile, special needs infants and children. Erin is from the U.S. and has lived in India since 2009, first volunteering with a special needs orphanage for 3 years then running an orphanage. I have been Erin's very close friend for 23 years and can testify to her faithfulness and genuine love for others. She has cared for countless children who were abandoned and near death and God has used her to love many children to life again. Roy is from Kerala, India and is working towards completion of his Master's Degree in Divinity. They were married in February having in common a love for God and a call on their lives to share the love and hope of Christ with the hurting and lost. September 1st, Roy and Erin will move to Kerala to start Alex Agape Foundation and will open their Kerala home for most vulnerable and special needs children in India. In order to start this new work in Kerala there are many needs: A new home, beds and bedding, towels, cooking supplies, medical equipment for medically fragile children, basic vehicle for transportation for these children. Estimated start up costs for the move and set up and for the initial cost of running the home is $25,000 USD. If you have followed Erin on Facebook through the years you know the value of the work she has done and the lives of many babies and children she's touched. You may have seen pictures of children who came in thin, weak and dying and were loved back to life and health and given the therapies they needed to have a hope and a future. Would you join me in helping Roy and Erin start a new orphanage? Their moving time is fast approaching and we need your help. I do not have the funds to do this alone but together we can do this. Please pray, donate and share this. Let's make a difference!
