Help Nicole Heal!
Organized by: Help Nicole Heal
Calmare is a treatment to help neuropathy. It's painful during the treatments, but does help her nerve pain decrease. Over time boosters are needed. Calmare started 9/12 and last 1-2 weeks. No insurance covers this treatment as of today. God will provide!

Hello all, We have created a private fundraiser our sister, Nicole Carter. She was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer March 2013. It's very hard to keep fundraising for cancer survivors, because people have already given so much! They don't prepare patients for outstanding medical debt (who have private insurance) and it's impossible to pay it down when you are in pain as a cancer survivor and can't work!! So we greatly appreciate you taking the time to donate! God bless you. We are working with her cancer team and new pain management team, to help her get into a detox center in California this summer. She has to safely detox off ALL her extremely strong pain medications. She's been on Oxycotin, Ocycodone, Tramadol for pain management which are highly addictive. She been on Xanax for her PTSD, also addictive. There is now a tolerance her body has with all these Meds and it's making her worse and feel greatly depressed. Her cancer team prescribed these for her over the last 3 years during her cancer battle. She's been suffering in chronic pain 24/7 since 2012, and these medications are too strong to be on the rest of her life. She suffers from fibromyalgia, bone pain, neuropathy (nerve damage from chemo), & joint pain. It's so hard to keep pushing and she's doing a great job keeping her faith, this will boost her spirits so much. Please help if you can:) I know so many are effected these days win someone you care for suffering or battling cancer. It's beyond sad, so we are doing our part to help our family member. Getting off these Meds could help her pain go alway, it's her only chance to find out. She's not been able to go forward with reconstruction because they would not be able to control her pain, while being on all these Meds. Her new pain doctor (Dr.Ng) suggests she get off all pain Meds because it could be a vicious circle of making her fibromyalgia worse. There is no guarantee that she will feel better after the detox. But it's been so many years of not knowing how she truly feels, she would like to try. It's very scary for her because she can not move and is almost crippled with pain, without these medications. She needs prayers to do this!!! It will get worse before better, & we have faith that this is an answered prayer in disguise. The other side of the fence is complete healing once she finishes the program. She's been very distant over the past few months dealing with pain & what to do. So we feel this is going to really help her get her life back. There is a new medication that could benefit her (unsure if name & non addictive), but the first step is getting OFF all pain Meds. She will have a pain team after her detox which could take up to a week or two. She will have IV fluids to keep her hydrated, support groups, and Meds to help her ween off these strong medications safely. Her team when she returns to WA will be a specialized pain doctor (Dr.Ng), pain physical therapist and a pain counselor!! She's been waiting 3 years to be accepted. Such a blessing! She desperately wants to be pain free! It's too long for anyone to be suffering like the!! She wants to get back to work, start paying off medical bills and start enjoying life again with her family! She needs her health and our support. With all the past medical debt we wanted to help her clear a few medical accounts, so she could use her insurance to pay for the detox center. Your donations and prayers would mean the world! Please pass this along if you know anyone who could help. It's a private fundraiser so we aren't posting on social media. We are trying to raise money over next 2 weeks so we could get her admitted in August 2016!
*We have extended this fundraiser through the end of year and even 2017 if needed. It takes time to sort out all details & when God provides it's not always on our clock. So thank you in advance for your love and support! Keep encouraging Nicole & praying. We need a clear path on what is best.*
