BENEFITING: PROJECT SOAR MARRAKECH
Project Soar empowers underprivileged Moroccan girls through academic support, art, sports and health education. We help keep girls in school, breaking the cycle of girl marriages and early motherhood, and preparing girls to have productive and fulfilled futures. We now need your help to spread Project Soar to more communities to reach more girls!
This is a great way to make a difference. As a mother or a father, a sister or a daughter, you may feel a special sense of compassion for the world's girls. And you should! According to the UN, adolescent girls are the most vulnerable female population in the world. About 240 million, or two fifths, of the world’s girls live in poverty on less than $2 per day. Many are forced to leave school to support their families.
Through Project Soar you can help in a meaningful way and be sure of where your money is going. You can also feel connected to the cause that you are giving to.
Project Soar works. That's why our beneficiaries were featured in the October 2016 CNN film, We will Rise. Our model even caught the attention of Michelle Obama who invited Project Soar staff and 2 Project Soar girls to the White House.
Girls come to Project Soar programs and leave feeling strong, safe, confident, capable, and worthy. 100% of Project Soar girls have pledged to stay in school.
We are now excited to spread Project Soar to new corners of the map with our pilot program: Project Soar in a Box. We have partnered with the Peace Corps to bring program curriculum and supplies to the girls most in need. Each box costs $500, so we look to you for support as we spread our reach!
You can make a difference. Please help. It's the very best way to give thanks this holiday season. Afterall, all girls deserve the chance to SOAR!
PS Please help to spread the word by sharing this link with your friends and family. It's a wonderful way to give back.
