BENEFITING: Purrfect Pals
Fourteen year old Pretty Kitty came to Purrfect Pals through a series of unfortunate events. Pretty Kitty was found wandering on a busy highway, walking in circles. Unfortunately for Pretty Kitty, he is blind and did not understand where he was. Luckily, someone found him and rushed him to a local vet. It was discovered that he suffers from high blood pressure which caused, among other things, his retinas to detach.
Tracing his microchip revealed that Pretty Kitty has spent his life being passed back and forth between three owners. None of the previous owners wanted him when contacted. Realizing he would have a better chance at Purrfect Pals, the vet clinic contacted us and we immediately jumped at the chance to help him. This handsome senior is the sweetest boy and it is beyond us how anyone could not want him. He loves treats and catnip! He often plays with toys and is the cutest little thing. He is on special prescription food and does require occasional fluids because he is in stage II of kidney disease.
Pretty Kitty is looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with and retire comfortably. He is hoping for a fourth chance at a forever home and we think he deserves it. In the meantime, though, we are treating his high blood pressure in the Purrfect Pals clinic. We do not currently have a blood pressure monitor onsite, unfortunately. Purchasing one would reduce the number of car rides he needs to take to outside vet clinics (which are very overwhelming and scary for him).
