Help Replace a Home
Organized by: Devon Arredondo
Family and Friends, On the evening of March 31, my Papa, mother, and brother were enjoying an evening at home, when tragedy struck. My brother, Hunter, was playing video games upstairs when he was alerted by a malfunctioning doorbell. He went to look toward the door to see what was going on and discovered the house was on fire.
Praise God for the doorbell, for it gave them all plenty of time to escape the house safely! They immediately called the fire department, and reached safety outdoors. Unfortunately by the time the fire department came, things were pretty grim. The fire had reached the attic, and the hope of salvaging anything had been lost. They escaped with their health and safety, which is MORE than enough to praise God, however they are left with only the clothes on their backs.
This CrowdRise is to help support them in the endeavor of replacing the many things they lost that evening. First, we ask that you would support us with your prayers. If you feel compelled to give to my family financially, we all appreciate it more than words can express. If you aren't in a place where you can give financially, that's COMPLETELY understood, and your prayers are more than enough!
In all of this we are standing on God's promise. He's always been, and always will be, faithful to us! "Bless the Lord, O my soul. Forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things." Praise be to God!
