Washington water Trails Association protects the places in the northwest we enjoy when camping, hiking, access to beaches and more such as the Inside Passage . They run a series of campsites up the Washington coast to Canada which is just one aspect of the organisation. On the higher level, they work with state parks, Dept of natural resources, Land and Water Conservation Fund, restoration agencies etc to ensure that not only us can enjoy the amazing outdoors of the PNW, but future generations as well. They also fight for public easements, so people can get to places like beaches etc, and future generations can as well, and run work parties and do things like pull weeds at state parks, plant dune grass to prevent erosion etc. Unfortunately they have come across series financial issues, and as chairman of their IT I want to make an immediate backup of all their data, so 30 years of history is not lost. This money is to be used for an external USB drive that will be kept offsite in a safety deposit box. In addition, a small case for the drive that provides a protective shield for it. Any remaining funds should there be any, will be used towards ensuring their online presence is maintained. In addition, National Millennium Trail by the White House (1999) designation and award, in addition to others. This directly effects all of us, outdoors person or not, as we protect places such as where toorcamp is held and the Salish Sea, a large focus. I need emergency measures to make sure we have this for generations to come.
