BENEFITING: TOTAL ACTION AGAINST POVERTY IN ROANOKE VALLEY
In 2005, Sabrina Reed was tragically shot and killed by her estranged husband during the exchange of their daughter. In response, the City of Roanoke and TAP worked together to develop a supervised visitation and exchange program and named it in her memory.
Sabrina was in the midst of ongoing court cases when she was killed. There are hundreds of others in the Roanoke Valley currently facing this situation, and Sabrina’s Place can help keep them safe.
TAP has been forced to suspend enrollments until new funding is secured, leaving judges and victims with limited resources for safe and secure visits and exchanges.
You can help keep this valuable program, and our community members, alive by visiting tapintohope.org to give today.
