Help Support Jimmy in the National Youth Leadership Forum

Organized by: Erica Tingle

Our James Connell was personally selected and nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum based upon his academic potential and interest in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, also known as the STEM fields.

During various workshops, he will have the opportunity to apply principles of engineering and compete in a robotics design challenge, develop his critical thinking skills while practicing medical techniques during a realistic simulation, apply spatial reasoning while creating a floor plan using CAD software, use the latest technology to construct a Mars rover, and participate in a coding simulation which allows students to create their own mobile app.

This is an honor and a privilege for Jimmy, and also a phenomenal prospect in which he will gain skills and confidence that will ultimately prepare him to make informed decisions with regard to choosing the appropriate academic, and eventually career path.

We could not be more proud! Together with his family, Jimmy will get to choose from eight university campuses nationwide where this forum will take place. This extraordinary opportunity comes with a significant tuition cost, that doesn’t include travel. Regardless of expenses, we will make certain that this doesn’t pass him by. If our family and friends are interested in supporting Jimmy financially, it definitely would not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
