Tina Flinchbaugh Memorial Fund
Organized by: Janeen Ritson
We are inching towards our fundraising goal of $9,300 with the year coming to a close, as the Flinchbaugh family continues to face economic hardship in the wake of their unexpected loss of, wife and mother, Tina Flinchbaugh earlier this year.
This York, PA family would deeply benefit from and appreciate any help you can give this holiday season.
Tine was just 45 when she passed away, leaving behind her loving husband of 24 years, Rick, their 20-year old son Tristan, and their 15-year old daughter, Shea.
Tina's all-too-short life was filled with financial and physical hardship, as she was sidelined in 2008 by degenerative disc disease that severely limited her movement and left her in constant pain, forcing her into early retirement.
Over the years Tina's condition worsened. She developed a number of other debilitating conditions that kept her housebound and suffering for 9 long years. Through all of this, Tina maintained a deep love and devotion to her husband, children, and friends; as well as a positive spirit—one of the most admirable I have ever witnessed.
Rick and the kids are adjusting to life without Tina as best they can, but in addition to their loss, they are at constanst risk of losing their home, as their economic situation is now more strained than ever before.
Shortly after Tina passed, I put forth an ambitious goal of raising $9,300 dollars for Rick, Tristan and Shea. This amount is enough to cover the cost of their mortgage for one full year, keeping them in their home for the time being, and giving them the opportunity to dig out of what has become financial crisis.
Much love and thanks,
