Help Urban Clutch Tattoos get a storefront location!
Organized by: Keenan Wells
Hello everyone, I'm a young tattoo artist of 19, and I've been preparing for my future and career all of my life. I've been actually working and doing tattoos since the age of 16 under the supervision of my mentor. My family has always been low income and it was indoctrinated in my mind early that I should strive to be a lawyer or doctor...but I knew thats not what i was passionate about. From a young age I knew I wanted to have live canvas of my artwork being displayed daily, and just recently I've been able to take one step closer to achieving my goal by attaining my tattoo artist's license. Now that I can legally showcase my work and broaden my customer base, I have to face yet another obstacle: where am I going to work? The reason I want to open my own parlor is to show other artists that there is a way to live comfortably while doing what you love. Too many voices have been muted and it's time someone steps up as a representative. I know with our combined efforts, we can help urban clutch tattoos get a storefront location. You'll rest easy knowing that the generosity would be passed on to other aspiring artists that just want their voices heard.
