Help Us Bring RE/MAX To Haiti
Organized by: Dexter McKinley
Dexter McKinley, Poverty. Hunger. The streets. It was my world in Haiti. By the time I was 6-years old, an orphanage became my home, my mother unable to care for me or my 5 other siblings. Then one day an American family adopted me and my world changed. We understand the plight of the people seeking to purchase property. The Haitian system of establishing property rights is so convoluted, complicated and corrupt that for the average citizen of Haiti to obtain a legally recognized title to property could take years. We plan to develope a new system that can expedite that process and treat people fairly and with honest dealings. All the while creating jobs and opportunities for the Haitian entreprenuers. My Start up cost: f) Mini market (cities and markets with smaller potential): Initial franchise start up fee of $19,000 plus building lease and set up costs all togethet totaling nearly $45,000 THIS IS THE REBUILDING A FUTURE FOR HAITI. All franchises include the same tools and services; the only difference is their market potential. The franchise fee covers a period of 5 years; you can renew for subsequent 5-year periods for 50% of the franchise fee that is valid at that time. Agent monthly membership: $37.50 per Agent per month, including the franchise owner. There is no limit to the number of Agents that you can recruit. As long as they are quality Agents, the more the merrier! This is the best way to build market share. Phased in as follows: Three month grace period. month 4:$300 month 5:$400 month 6:$500 month 7:$600 month 8:$700 month 9:$750 Broker fee: 6% of gross commissions. No advertising fee. Every office does their own advertising because of the complex geography of the Region. However, you will still benefit from the millions of dollars invested in advertising in the USA and around the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUYv2VzOmkU Below is link where you can read more about why this mean so much to us and how thankful we will be once this project is established. http://www.hrdf.org/professor-winston-riddick-law-corner/haitian-immovable-property-law-obsticle-for-development/ Please contribute to my goal, one that can reach the shores of Haiti and help others dream of a better life.
