Help Yvonne Go Home!
Organized by: Jenna Ferguson
My name is Jenna Ferguson and some very dear and close friends (pretty much family) to me and my family are in need of help. I am passing along the message from Patricia, whose grandmother has been encountering quite a few hurdles. In an effort to fulfill Yvonne's wishes to have some peace in her own home, the family is asking for help to pay for a down payment on a place and some new furniture as well. Hello, my name is Patricia Roberts and my family and I are trying to help raise money for my grandmother, Yvonne Loomis. She is currently in a rehabilitation center and she is 79 years of age. She has been in the hospital and this rehabilitation center since November 2015 and several times before November for several months at a time. She fell and broke her hip 5 years ago and also has multiple issues with her health. She has congestive heart failure, COPD, cardio vascular issues and general overall poor health. She was hospitalized this time because of a heart attack and issues with breathing. While doing repairs on her home, severe mold was discovered and the home is beyond repair. The severity of the mold in the home and furniture has caused the majority of her respiratory issues. She is strong enough to go home!! However, since her older mobile home has been mostly destroyed by the bad rains and severe weather in Northwest Louisiana, we are looking into a better solution for her. She just wants to come home and spend her final years on the land her and her late husband had together and the only way to do this is to purchase another home. The family is able to make the payments on a new home, but is requesting help for the down payment. Any donation would help and be greatly appreciated during this time of need.
