Imagine living in a rural area, living in poverty, and you have a problem with your taxes. Some families live too far away to get income tax help. Others are entitled to valuable income tax credits, but must pay hundreds of dollars to tax return preparers to receive assistance.
We are a group of law students from Michigan State University College of Law. The Help 100 Families Campaign will help impoverished individuals and families around Michigan to file their 2014 taxes and assist those in rural communities who have tax problems with the IRS. Our campaign is supervised by two licensed tax attorneys, who will ensure that all tax issues and returns are handled correctly and efficiently.
