Hey guys I need your help! SUSIE magazine opened up a contest for raising support for Haiti. What the project is, is raising support for 40 Haiti teen girls. Both your prayers and financial support is needed, so provide according to what you feel God is calling you to give. Through this contest, the first place winner will get a free trip to Haiti and get to meet these girls! This is something I am very passionate about so I would love to go, all I need is your help! Thank you! [:
I writing to you to inform you of an exciting opportunity that I am involved in. This year, the Christian teen magazine SUSIE opened up a contest in raising money for 40 teen girls in Haiti. The magazine recipient who raises the most financial support for these girls gets to meet them personally in Haiti. I am asking you as a friend and/or fellow believer to consider what your part could be in these girls’ lives.
Many people in Haiti lack the basic necessities to live while Americans have more than we need. These girls live in an orphan home in Saintilus, Haiti. I believe that if any of these girls had a fraction of what we have, they would consider themselves rich. I am not aware of each of these girls’ stories, where they have been or what they have gone through. But my guess is that many of them have not seen what it is like to have a real caregiver in their lives. The minimum donation is $10. That’s all! Please help me in showing how great of a Father in heaven we have, and how He will take care of us. Your prayer support is also much needed. Even if I don’t win the contest, I want to help make a memorable Christmas in Haiti.
If you feel that God is calling you to support these girls you can go to www.crowdrise.com/help4haitito donate.
