Most of the people have been aware of massive earthquake that struck the heart of Nepal. A huge number of people lost their lives and many more got injured because of the impact. Most of the rescue operations and relief packages so far have been limited to capital city Kathmandu, but the people in the remote areas are the ones who suffered most, and are in the condition of desperate help.
This is an effort to contribute the most-hit district, Sindhupalchok, where most people lost their lives and I appeal everyone staying around the world to be part of this campaign. Every penny counts. So far at the moment, there has already been at least 1000 confirmed dead in this district alone, thousands are injured and most have not been able to get medical attention. More than 99% of the houses have collapsed. It is the district connected to Kathmandu, yet there is no presence of government in most of the places, there is no rescue effort so far, not to mention no relief package. Any rescue operation has happened in headquarter only. Most of the injured who need immediate attention in remote areas have not been able to be brought to the medical centers because of landslides. Highways are blocked. As a resident of the district where tragedy hit most I believe this fundraiser would be able to save may lives, relieve many injured and those alive who are desperately waiting for help. There have been thousands who have not been able to be in touch with loved ones and know their status because of the circumstances and I am one of them. Instead of waiting for center-focused government and many international and non-government organizations whose presence is invisible in my district who need them most, it is time for everybody to contribute from our side as much as possible. The government has abandoned this district. We have not. There has been no media coverage on the extent of damage. People are crying for help. The fund would be handed over to the group working there directly to make immediate impact in the region. It would be utilized for medical supplies, drinking water, food and shelter to the victims who need it most. Please don't hesitate to donate from what you can for the good cause.
Pray for the victims and their families. HELP NEPAL. HELP SINDHUPALCHOK.
