Help a disabled veteran stay in their home.
Organized by: Tammy Cousins
I'd like to help a fellow veteran who is on the verge of becoming another suicide statistic. I've watched helplessly as she's grown increasingly desperate while being denied help from one agency after another. She suffers from multiple head traumas, neck injuries, and PTSD. And has physical therapy, cognitive therapy, psych appointments and group therapy 5 days a week. She managed to stop drinking despite having debilitating panic attacks and night terrors from flashbacks. She is currently renting and is in danger of losing her home. Meanwhile, the VA instead of helping expedite her claim, continues to send bills and her doctors only offer more drugs. Despite these and other roadblocks too numerous to mention she still has faith that God will provide for her and hopes that His plan doesn't include homelessness. She also offers her home to other ladies with PTSD and plans to help others when she gets better. All money raised will go toward her late bills and anything extra will be taken to Verity and Vet Connect to be given directly to other vets in similar situations who somehow have no help available to them.
Please donate so we don't lose another veteran to suicide. There are so many suffering in silence, but this is one I know we can help right now.
