While serving in Iraq, Sgt.Timothy Floyd was gravely injured by an IED. He suffers from a TBI, SEVERE PTSD, anxiety and seizures. Since this happened Tim has been in and out of the hospital several times. Tim is now in the VA Hospital in Omaha NE, undergoing intensive therapy. When he is discharged, a group of Tim's friends and family would like to have a Therapy dog that can help detect seizures and serve as a companion to help ease his anxiety. Tim's wife has found a reputable trainer that is recommended through the VA that will train Tim's dog and stay in contact with the family and continue to work with them as long as they need assistance.
