Still helping the most critical cases

The SPCA in Kota Kinabalu is an amazing animal rescue saving hundreds of dogs and cats every month. I volunteered briefly with them and they do incredible work. They desperately need more funding for continued care of over 200 animals: food, cleaning, vet services, etc, as well as funding to finish building their new, permanent shelter.
The SPCA rescues animals that are in danger - including stray animals, injured animals, cruelty cases, and more. They have been using a temporary shelter for some time, as their shelter was demolished in terrible flooding. The shelter is crowded and overflowing. They've finally acquired a 4+ acre plot of land to build a new, permanent facility. Your donations will go towards this effort, as well as the regular maintenance costs of feeding, grooming, cleaning, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and caring for injured and abused animals.
Many animals in Sabah (so many, so so many) face neglect. On a daily basis you can expect to see an animal with an injury or skin condition you just can't stand to look at. Most of us turn our heads, unsure of what to do. (I often did). This organization finds those animals and rescues them. Please help them continue this work - it is most desperately needed.

SPCA KK recognizes the fact that there will never be enough homes for all the stray animals; therefore they have committed to using the most humane method to reduce the stray population by Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program.
When you donate to this fundraiser, Crowdrise transfers money to me monthly and I transfer the money to the account in Malaysia. We'll share updates from the shelter when they receive our funds.
