The Syrian refugee crisis, born out of the Syrian civil war started five years back. A war that tore the country into factions, but ripped apart the normal lives of its citizens. Almost 12.2 million people affected due to the Syrian crisis need humanitarian assistance. A staggering 7.5 million children (UNHCR gives this number to be ~ 5.6 million) or so, need hope, help, reassurance, food, basic needs and education. That's almost equal to the population of New York (~8.4 million) ! That's 3 times more than the population of Paris ! And they're all little kids.
As my twenty-fourth birthday is 24 days from today, I thank all of you for being part of my life and for all the wonderful experiences. I only have utmost love and respect for all of you. I kindly, humbly and sincerely request you to help me share the same love with the little kids who were forced out of Syria, who are waiting for food or warm blankets, or some books to share. Please help me provide much needed support and help to the refugee kids. I am extremely thankful for your lovely and incredible gesture.
"The Syrian Children's Relief fund" maintained by 'Save the Children' foundation (http://www.savethechildren.org/site/c.8rKLIXMGIpI4E/b.6115947/k.8D6E/Official_Site.htm), with a donation of $50 can make a difference (provide nutritious food, warm clothes and critical supplies such as diapers, soap, and other items to help keep young children healthy, and support education in Syrian refugee camps).
Every single penny raised will be donated to the Syrian Children's Relief Fund by Save the Children Foundation. THANK YOU !
