Help Andi the appaloosa fight cancer

Andi once again needs some help
September 27, 2016
Update: Andi made it through surgery. She ended up needing to have her entire eye removed unfortunately. The vet also found evidence of cancer along the bone and removed it. We won't know if the surgery was able to remove all of the cancerous tumors until the results from the biopsy come back.
Thank you everyone
We rescued this sweet mare and her filly a few months back. Our veterinarian took a biopsy of a strange mass in her eye and it came back positive for squamous cell carcinoma. Our vet will perform surgery to attempt to remove the mass and hopefully save her life. Unfortunately it comes at a cost and with the vet bills piling up, I've decided to reach out and ask for help. The surgery is estimated to cost around $500 and there will be more tissue samples sent in to the lab to be tested afterwards as well as medication for her.
We have run a private rescue for the last 7 years and have been extremely successful in rehabbing neglected and abused horses. Not once have we asked for any financial help but now we desperately need help to cover the costs for this wonderful mare
Andi is a 9 year old appaloosa mare with a heart of gold. She deserves a chance to live a full life comfortably and with your help we can make it possible. She has come a long way already and I refuse to give up on her.
