Help baby Colton and his family!
Organized by: Kelly Davies
Everyone meet baby Colton. Colton is currently a happy, spunky full of personality 10m old. He was diagnosed with a fatal and rare bone disorder called Malignant Infantile Osteopetrosis, a condition where your bones become solid, break easily, stop making blood and slowly close in on vital organs at just 2 months old. Since then he has been in the hospital ever since. This condition is fatal for children if not treated with a bone marrow transplant. Colton and his mother are from Virginia but have been in Minnesota in the hospital now for over 7 months. Leaving her other two children in the safe care of her family. Colton received his first transplant back in June, which inevitably failed. During this time a list of other life long complications have fallen upon this child. He lost his vision, has a heart defect due to medications given, has begun to lose his hearing, developmentally delayed and as of the latest having seizures of unknown reasons. Colton and his mother will continue on their journey into a 2nd transplant, scheduled for Jan 7, 2016. From here on out Colton will require a lot medical assistance and therapy. We have begun this fund for this mother and her babies to help in what ever way possible. Wether its with all the medical assistance Colton will require in the future, helping with her two babies back home, helping with their new home OR simply taking the stress of financial burdens off of mom while she is bed side with Colton, fighting for his precious little life. You can follow his journey and learn more about his condition on his Facebook page Prayers For Colton. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=574947455941753&tsid=0.09132060967385769&source=typeahead
