SOUTHERN COUNTIES RESCUE wrote -
Blue, Hummer and Sunny incurred large vet bills, which we paid to save their lives. Now we need help paying those bills so we can keep on saving kitties and getting them into forever homes.
Here are their stories --
Hummer, an adorable kitten, was thrown from a car into a yard where he was rescued. He is a super sweet purring machine despite his bad treatment but ended up with a scraped up face and infection. We rushed him to the vet for treatment. He is now on medications and soon will be all better and ready for adoption.
Blue lost his home when the office where he lived was closed. He came to us sick due to stress, his weak immune system and inadequate vaccines. Blue was hospitalized and had a blood transfusion but is now on the mend after two months of critical care. He is a total love and will some day have his forever home.
Sunny has had a very hard life, first he was attacked by the owners dog who broke his jaw and tore ligaments which were not properly repaired. Recently he was thrown outside to live in 30 degrees weather at night due to the former owner having a baby and consequently received more injuries requiring stitches. We rescued him, vetting him & now are looking a foster. Despite his terrible life he is extremely loving.
Please open up your hearts to these kitties and help us pay their vet bills which have reached over $4000. Since December we have had over $5000 unexpected vet bills.
