HELP FUND SURGERY FOR AN AMAZING LITTLE PUPPY!
Bright Eyes was found in Chinle AZ on Oct 31st 2013.
She was spotted wondering with a pack of stray dogs and seemed injured. A local rescue (Dine College Animal Care Club) picked her up and brought her to Flagstaff for immediate medical attention. She sustained serious injuries to her front body and had several fractures as well as torn ligaments and muscles. But she didn’t give up!
Even after going through numerous painful medical treatments she showed true will power and her spirit was not broken! That’s how she came to us. We helped foster her for the first few days after treatment and realized she is a very special dog!
Over $1,700 was donated by us and the DCACC to provide for the initial treatment. However she requires an orthopedic surgery to fix her shoulder blade in order for her to walk normally again.
The surgery costs $2,500 and post surgery care will reach about $900. Therefore a total of $3,400 is needed to save this little puppy. Without the surgery she will not be able to have the quality of life a dog requires to survive.
The road to recovery will be long, but little Bright Eyes has gathered quite the group of fans. Given adequete treatment we believe she will make a full recovery.
As her foster and a dog trainer I pledge to train Bright Eyes to be a therapy dog. The good karma awarded to her will be returned tenfold!
Thank you for caring!
