EVENT DATE: Feb 14, 2014
There is a student in Kalamazoo, MI that is living in poverty. The KSC soccer season actually started last June. His parents signed him up with the hopes of being able to pay within the year. Unfortunately they have not made a single payment. He has a borrowed uniform. Here is the information on all the fees that he has and will acquire. Registration $240 ,ref fees for the spring session $40, mandatory session indoors $65, 2 spring tournaments $100, and his own uniform $100 (not necessary, but nice). The $65 for the mandatory session is due by Feb 7, and a gas card for his family to go watch him play, and pick him up from events. He has been working hard in school to be able to participate in the Kalamazoo Soccer Club. It’s a program that requires check-ins with teachers who give reports on how players are doing in school. These reports determine participation. The club has allowed Bryan to play in the past, but his family was notified that he would have to start paying now. Bryan has a passion for soccer. His parents really wish they could afford for him to play, but they just can't. We want to keep his dreams and grades alive so Bryan's desire to play soccer has become our project. The deadline for our fundraiser is February 14th. Whatever help you can give would be great.
