Help Chloé Help Nepal
Organized by: Chloe Mayer
On Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:56AM, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit Nepal, taking the lives of over 10,000 people and 29,000 houses damaged. The last and next few weeks/months be critical in how many lives we can save.
This July, in collaboration with Effect.org, a group of 22 global Salesforce and Google employees are traveling to Nepal to help with earthquake relief. We will be “adopting” one village in the most affected earthquake area, and working with locals to help construct temporary structures for families and school classrooms. Additionally, we’ll be working on rain catch water systems for the community to provide clean water. At the conclusion, we’ll participate in a 54-hr Start Up Weekend hackathon to brainstorm solutions on how the tech community can help rebuild Nepal.
Whether its money or support, help us rebuild Nepal.
