Help Gabi with her education!

Hi! If you are reading this sentence right now, then there's a slight chance that you took the time to question yourself whether or not this campaign would be valuable enough to spend your money on. It's not up to me to decide that...it's up to you. My dad is seventy-nine and a few years ago he saw his world crumbling right before his eyes. His small bread factory started having problems. Our only source of income. My mom left me in the care of my aunt and traveled to Africa so she could support my father. I was thirteen at the time and like any other teenager, focused on my studies. I would be the first of my family to graduate high school! Although I was born in Africa and raised in Portugal, I knew I wanted to broaden my horizons. A more intensive cultural experience. I wanted to go to America. However, my hopes of going to University grew more distant as the years went on. My parents had to sell both their houses. One being my childhood home. The factory closed and now they live there. The only source of food they have right now is a little garden they made. Currently I'm eighteen and still live with my aunt, but as the chances of going to University are low I will have to leave. Even thought I'd like to go to University the financial aspects made me decide to enroll in an eleven-month advanced diploma program. I'm not asking for a better home for me or my parents. I'm only asking for a chance to acquire some academic skills. With your support, I will be able to help them. Thank you for giving me a piece of your time.
