The Great Pacific Race has been called the Biggest, Baddest Human Endurance Challenge on the Planet!! It is the only human powered race on the Pacific and 2016 is only the 2nd time it will be run. Although it is stated to be 2400 miles, that is actually Nautical miles. the distance in regular miles would be aproximately 3000, 1.5 times Nautical miles!
~This is the challenge Liz has decided to take on at age 58, with 1 Boat, 2 Women, 2400 miles of the Pacific and the goal to be not only one of the first 2 women teams to complete this mighty challenge but the oldest women to ever do it!!
~~~~~~~~Liz is the • Technical Coordinator of this 2 Women Team~~~~~~~~~~~
I've always been an athlete, but I'm also an engineer, and technical geek. I tend to do things I know I can do well, so the Great Pacific Race is my chance to step out of that comfort zone. I want to commit to doing something I have never done before and look forward to using my brain, body, and belief in myself and my teammate.
