BENEFITING:

THE STORY:

Hey Everyone,

This beautiful Boston Terrier named Hemma needs surgery. She was found in a ditch after being abandoned with a broken hip and very little weight on her. Her injury doesn't point to being hit by a car, as the damage was not freshly made, nor severe enough.

Hemma now needs a rod put in her right leg as her femur is broken in two places. Her surgery cost $800.

Hemma's surgery will be held on December 7. So far Caramel Foundation (www.fondationcaramel.com) has raised up to $405.00. Currently, Hemma is in the very capable hands of Louise Meunier at an animal shelter called Caramel Foundation.

I know Christmas is upon us but please, let's give the best gift to Hemma and help her get back to her feet again. Even if it's just a dollar that you can give, Hemma will love you for it. Once she is back on her feet, she can begin the to smile again and hopefully find a forever home.

Tax receipts are available over 25.00.

A little about Caramel Foundation:

The Caramel Foundation is an animal shelter that is located in Saint-Valérien de Milton, Quebec. Their primary goal is to save animals that are alive, but also slow the reproduction by sterilization or castration. The Caramel Foundation gives animals the necessary care to maintain their health: healthy food, all treatment against parasites, sterilization and castration. The mission of the Caramel Foundation is to ensure that all the animals up for adoption will not be returned to the street but to new loving, forever homes. The Caramel Foundation is against euthanasia, all animals taken in by Caramel Foundation will stay until they are adopted.

Personally, my parents have adopted two dogs from the Caramel Foundation with great success. Both dogs we adopted from Caramel were completely happy, playful and loving. I think Caramel had a big impact on the transition the dogs went through to come into our home. When I went to visit Caramel, I was amazed on how all the dogs seemed to love Louise and knew why my father and I were there. All the dogs were strutting their stuff and showing off their best attributes in a way of saying. "Pick me. Oh, please pick me!"

Also, if you have any old dog blankets, collars, blankets, or anything you think a dog would like to have, you can send it to:
