Well 2016 has been a very tring year so for.. I am one of four children. I have an older sister, I am the next and then I have two younger brothers. My Mom and Dad were married for almost 55 yrs. My dad is my Step-Dad, and the best man ever.. He took care of my sister, myself and my brother as if we were his own, and then came James, the baby of the kids and their only child together. We found out in April 2016, that my baby brother (James) had brain cancer. My mother was taking care of my dad, as he has Alzheimer's and then came the news about my brother's brain cancer, so she had her hands full and then my Mother was killed in a car accident on Mother's Day May 8, 2016, two days before her 76th birthday, while taking my nephew to work. So with my sister that lived in NC at that time, gave up her job in (Early Childhood Education Administration) as a Preschool Teacher which she loved dearly and her family to stay and take care of my dying brother and our dad in Oklahoma. My sister sadly lost her only son in a car accident when he was 25 years old in Feb. 2003, which was very hard on her and our famliy. But she said as the oldest it was her job to take care of them.. It was not an easy thing to do. My brother James surffed in pain from the brain cancer, and she was there every minute of everyday to take care of him and my dad. James passed from the cancer on Septmeber 12, 2016. As one would think losing my mom and his only child at the age of 53, my dad is very sad and lost.. My sister says the light in his eyes is going out.. I live in Maryland, so I am not able to help her.. Because of her taking care of them where she left her job, she is now losing her only car because she can not pay the payments anymore.. She needs a car to take my dad to his Dr.'s appointments and to get his meds and food. She doesn't think this will work but I am reaching out to get the help she needs and deserves, for her and my dad. Any amount, even just a dollar would be welcomed, or if you would like to donate her a car she would be blessed. She told me God will help her though this trying time like he always has..I told her I was putting up a go fund me page and she told me that on one would help her. I told her "We will see". The pic on here is after my moms funeral. My sister is the one with the big smile on her face and her family from NC with my Dad. Her family returned for my brothers funeral but sadley had to return to NC this week. This is a post from my daughter: September 12 at 9:46pm · Berkeley, WV · Sadly, Today, heaven gained another angel. My uncle who battled cancer has lost his fight and went to greet my grandmother Polly Phillips. I gotta tell u, my family has endured a lot of pain by unnatural deaths in this lifetime and yet we remain strong willed and keep doing what we do best, keeping faith that the end of life isn't the end of our journey. I pray that my family can come to peace with all of this soon as I believe in better days. I want to say how much I love my mom, my Aunt Cookie, my grandfather and uncle Sam and will kp u all in my prayers today and always and let u know how sry I am for the loss of brother, father grandfather and uncle, and just a crazy yet great man lol U will be missed so very much but God and Mo nd u back so fly to heaven and give that woman and Tom a great big hug for all us here on earth!!! Thoughts and prayers with all his children and family members...Love u "Bubba" ❤ #piesugarlovesu
