WHY YOU SHOULD HELP?
- You will position young Ghanaians to get a job - Youth unemployment is currently 85% in Ghana.
- The assistance will enable these young ones to be in a position to help themselves in the future. That is, they will be adequately equipped with technical skills and knowledge which they can use to better their lives. MTA believes that Africa can take care of Africa.
MIM TECHNICAL ACADEMY The school is a three year vocational school for youths from the age of 15 and it is our mission to make it the best technical school in Ghana, raising the level of technical education for ambitious young Ghanaians. We are offering two vocational programs: Agribusiness and Electrical Education including the core subjects mathematics, english language, integrated science, social studies, Information technology (IT) and sports. We work with stringent value set, developing not only knowledge, but also right attitudes and personal initiatives. A new Danish Tech standard will also be used to supplement the Ghanaian curriculum, giving the students the very best elements of an European Technical education. These vocations are highly necessary in Ghana will hopefully enable students to continue to pursue their ambition in the work market after they have graduated. Our school will be committed to the philosophy of giving back, encouraging each individual student to maintain focus on sustainability and responsibility. We believe that the sky is indeed the limit, for those who persevere. We wish to promote this way of thinking to the youth of Ghana, enabling the possibility to positively develop their own individual future, as part of a larger whole. To us, skills and knowledge is power, and we wish to empower the coming generations, and inspire them to reach for the stars. Our wish is that Mim Technical Academy will become a leading example of great cooperation between public and private institutions and organizations, with an international perspective.
