Helping Local Family Mourn Loss Of Daughter
Organized by: Derrin Doty Group
As active #AgentsOfChange in our community, we love helping every member who lives here. Because we love our community so much, nothing breaks our heart more than when we hear of a loss, especially when it is a loss in a family. In these situations we believe more than ever that is our duty to bring our community together in order to help those in their trying time.
Pegy Lowery of Port Orchard recently lost her daughter, Piper Lowery, in a bizarre complication with the flu. The 12-year-old started having a high fever on January 12th and four days later passed away. According to the mom, the fever hit Piper like a “freight train” and took her away from without any notice. Now the only way Pegy can hear her daughter’s voice is through recorded home videos…so to say this is tragic really doesn’t do what Pegy and Lowery family are going through any justice.
We are now on a mission to raise $500 that we can give Pegy to help her through this trying time and to honor Piper’s memory. Join us as we continue our community cause campaign and help us make a difference for the Lowery family.
Sincerely, your friends at the Derrin Doty Group
