Helping Orphans in India
Organized by: lucy brigman
Hello, family and friends.
I hope you are well and enjoying the warm spring weather.
I’m writing to share some exciting news! Recently Sean, Spencer and I were invited to go to Kazakhstan and India for a short term mission this summer. Sean will be joining a team from our church and will go to Kazakhstan and my son Spencer and I are going to India to help with a ministry that serves orphan children.
Here are the details!
India Samuel and Sangamithra Kadari serve the Lord in their hometown of Vijayapur, South Lallaguda, India. They have a passion for evangelism, church planting, and community development in some of the poorest, most remote villages. Additionally, they provide care to orphan children. Spencer and I will join the Kadaris with the purpose to explore opportunities to personally support orphans within their ministry. We are excited by the opportunity to serve in obedience to the Great Commission by providing encouragement, fellowship, and service to believers in other parts of the world.
Here are ways that you can be directly involved and share in the blessing that comes from service to the Kingdom.
1)Pray, not only for safety as we travel, but that the ministries we visit will be strengthened, and individuals will come to know the Lord through our sharing of the Gospel.
2)Give. The total cost for the three of us to go on our respective trips is about $3,500. Obviously we will pay as much we can personally, and our church is providing a portion. For the remainder, we extend this invitation to partner with us financially.
Acts 20:35 – “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' “
Thank you for your prayer and support!
