Helping Shelly (Maples) Shea
Organized by: John Millican
I'm sure by now you've all heard that Shelley Maples Shea was in an accident last month and broke her neck at C2. It is called a "Hangman's Break" and could still leave her a quadriplegic if she is not cared for properly.
She is home and several types of medical therapists visit weekly but her daily care falls to Chuck. He has an enormous mountain to climb what with working full time, the house and yard to maintain, inside chores, and taking care of Shelley's needs. Heck, trying to keep her in a chair is a full time job!
Something that would really make a difference in their lives would be some hot meals, chili, soup, desserts, salads... Shelley's been up trying to make dinner for Chuck to take some of the burden off of him, and that is something she ABSOLUTELY is not supposed to be doing! Your donations will be transferred directly to Shelly and will help them to take-out dinners, yard work, or housework to free up Chuck to care for Shelly.
Let's support both Shelly and Chuck while she works through her recovery
