Help Katie Save Nine Lives!
Organized by: Katie Ryan
I am a member of TEAM PAWS, supporting the operations of PAWS Chicago, a no-kill animal shelter.
Each year I commit to fundraising as I train to run the Chicago Marathon and go the distance for the PAWS, just as PAWS Chicago goes the distance in finding homes for animals who have been abandoned and neglected. I run in honor of my two rescue pets Louie the dog (RIP buddy) and Alice the cat. My life is better every day from knowing them.
My goal this year is to raise at least $3,000 which is enough to support nine animals from intake to adoption at PAWS Chicago. I believe that through this process, not only are these animal's lives made better, but the lives of those who welcome them into their hearts. Being involved in making life-changing connections for nine animals and the countless human family members they have is an indescribable honor -- and I hope you think so too!
All donations will go towards my fundraising campaign (found here: http://paws.convio.net/goto/katieryan) and 100% of donations will be used towards saving the lives of animals.
Not only am I working to transform the lives of those animals and their new families helped by PAWS Chicago, but I am also transforming my own life through marathon training - to be a healthier, happier me!
