EVENT DATE: Apr 27, 2014
We all like to eat, talk, and smile. Thankfully many of us have no problem doing that. For some children, however, it is not that easy because they are affected with cleft and craniofacial deformities.
The good news is that a surgery can help many of these children enjoy their favoriate food, sleep without a difficulty breathing, and smile freely.
The not so good news is many of them can't afford a surgery... and grow up with a continued difficulty eating and speaking. Often they find themselves socially isolated because of how they look. Can you imagine not being able to rest, not being able to enjoy your favoriate food, or not being able to say the names of your loved ones?
Smiles International Foundtaion provides charitable surgical care for underpriveldged children in Los Cabos, Mexico. A team of care providers are donating their time and getting ready to go help these children.
We are asking you to help us secure sterile surgical disposable supplies and provide care to the children after their surgeries. It costs about $250 worth of supplies to provide a free surgery to a child. So consider giving us what you can.... whether it's $5 or $1000, we deeply appreciate your help.
Can you help these kids eat, speak, and smile (better)?
