My name is Mikhaela, and I believe in the Gerson Therapy and in Gerson patients. That's why my friend Amanda and I have decided to enter the Resolution Run in support of a Gerson patient, Leanna Prosser. Leanne is on the Therapy and doing well - but she needs our help to continue healing.
This is Leanna's story:
When I was 39 years old and pregnant with my second daughter, I was diagnosied with colorectal cancer. I did conventional treatment for one grueling year and was cleared of cancer. During that time, a complete stranger told me about the Gerson Therapy.
While on the mend, I kept feeling that I needed to use this therapy to detox my body, and I began doing some research on it. In June 2014, CT and PET scan imaging showed that the cancer had metastasized to the liver, lung, and pelvic region and I was given a terminal diagnosis.
I knew without any hesitation that I needed to do this therapy. After a very heated discussion my oncologist relented but warned me not to give it too long to begin chemo as I was given only 6 months if I did nothing.
Fast forward, it has been exactly 6 months and I feel fantastic. My energy has returned after 2 long years, my hair is thicker than it has been in over a decade, my skin glows. I’m finally back down to a normal weight post baby and cancer treatment. People don’t even recognize me! I homeschool my kindergartener and tot-school my 1 year old. I feel like I actually get a second shot at life!! My oncologist even wrote me a prescription for my thyroid pills and told me to keep up the good work (without wanting specifics of course).
