Hi there. Some of you may know me, some of you might not, my name is Marina. I'm a 19 year old college student living in Southern California. I'm currently a waitress in Fountain Valley, CA, but as of recently my hours have been drastically cut to one 2 1/2 hour shift in a week. I've been trying so hard to make living life on my own work, but financially it has been really hard. Due to this, I haven't been able to make enough money to pay my rent this month, which is $500 due on the 3rd. http://www.crowdrise.com/HelpMarinaNotBeHomeless On top of that, due to some street sweeping parking citations I received last year that went unpaid, I now have a boot on the front tire of my car. Now, instead of paying the $44 fine for these citations, the City of Huntington Beach is demanding that I pay $343, along with $100 to get the boot removed from my vehicle, or else it will be impounded. All in the matter of 72 hours. That was 48 hours ago. I need to raise this money fast, or else I will end up in a homeless shelter, or worse, on the streets. I am absolutely terrified of that, and am willing to do anything I can in exchange for donations. I just need this one month to finish up the semester at school, and if I need to, transfer my job and move back in with my mother this summer. Please, if you have the funds, please help me. And if you don't, please share this and signal boost. It would mean everything to me. Thank you.
As of 4/29/2014, I've been told that I need to move out, as my roommate is giving the room I'm currently renting to her daughter and newborn grandson. She said that though she would like to give me 30 days to move, she can't, and I need to be out by the end of the week.
